Not much to show for what we've done today. Most of the day was spent waiting for a mini skip to arrive, which, at £80, is probably the most expensive part of the whole operation! We also needed a few Acrow props and had to wait for Karen to come home with the car so we could fetch them. The important rule we seem to have forgotten is to plan ahead. You never can with these jobs though!!
We did manage to take the ceiling lattice-work off and remove most of the 2" concrete floor (to make way for the Parque floor). The skip is more or less already full.
The mysteries of this house continue to appear. It seems there was once a toilet in the back room. What this room was originally is still a mystery. What we thought to be original brick walls are merely breeze blocks.
Anyway, plenty more to do tomorrow...
